This is a time to herald in the beginning of the 7th Month and the culmination of this years appointed times!

Baruch Atah Adonai Eloiheinu Melech ha olam​

Who has granted us life, sustained us

Readings

Lev 23v23 - Adonai spoke to Moses saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you are to have a Shabbat rest, a memorial of blowing shofarot a holy convocation. You are to do no regular work, and you are to present an offering made by fire to Adonai

 

Num 29 - On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a sacred assembly. You are to do no laborious work. It is for you a day for sounding the shofar. You are to prepare a burnt offering as a pleasing aroma to Adonai. One young bull from the herd, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old, without flaw, with their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, three tenths of an ephah with the bull, two tenths with the ram, and one tenth with each of the seven lambs, as well as one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for yourselves. Also offer the burnt offering for the month with its grain offering, the regular burnt offering with its grain offering, and their appropriate drink offerings as a pleasing aroma to Adonai, as an offering by fire.

Blow the shofar at the New Moon,
at the full moon for the day of our festival.
5 For it is a decree for Israel,
an ordinance of the God of Jacob.

The sound of the alarm

We hear the sound of the alarm and will not ignore it. We awaken from our slumber and ready ourselves for this season of returning

TEKIAH GADOL

You shall know this day and reflect in your heart that it is the Lord who is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath, there is none else.”

We hope, O Lord our God, to soon behold Your majestic glory when all abominations shall be removed and all false gods shall be at an end.

Then shall the world be perfected under the rule of the Lord Almighty and all mankind shall call upon Your name. For to You every knee must bow and every tongue declare that You are God.

Reign over us soon and forever. May the kingdom of David’s greater son be established forever. For then shall the words be fulfilled, “the Lord shall be King forever,” and “The Lord shall be King over all the earth; on that day, the Lord shall be One, and His name One.

Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him!For the wedding of the Lamb has come,    and His bride has made herself ready

1 Long Blast until breath runs out

Let the shofar we blow this night resound with the heavenly Shofar, in anticipation of that future festal shout of the Archangel, when the final Shofar will be blown and You will gather Your people unto Yourself

Blessing for the New Month

O Lord our God and God of our fathers, draw us closer to Yourself in this coming month, and bring us goodness and blessing!Grant us fullness of life in the Messiah. A life filled with His peace, with His goodness, with His joy, with His strength, with His righteousness and with His blessing!

 

Grant us a life in which our needs are met. A life filled with greater love for You and Your word, a life in which our duty to glorify You is fulfilled!

 

May You who redeemed our ancestors from slavery, and who redeems us from sin and death, and gives useternal life, soon gather Your people from the four corners of theEarth, and bring us together under the kingship of Messiah Yeshua!

 

May this new month come to us for the sake of tov (good)

May the Holy One, blessed be He, bless this new month for us, and for His people Israel, and for all peoples everywhere, and especially for Messiah’s Holy Community with life, peace, joy and gladness, salvation and blessing!
