What to expect on a Shabbat morning

 

An appointed time of stopping to rest, being in the moment

Hearing God's living word

Gathering, drawing near and sharing as a community

Shining forth the light of Messiah
 

10:00 - Prayer

We start our gatherings with prayer, using scripture, songs, or set prayers from the Messianic Siddur (prayer book). to focus our minds on God before study. We encourage people to participate.

10:30 - Torah Study

We will share gleanings from our weekly study and often pose questions which we use as a gateway to facilitate discussion and exploration as we break into smaller groups.

11:15 - Short break for refreshments and conversation

11:30 - Further Study

Various members of the community will introduce some thoughts on another passage which leads to further discussion and consideration of practical application for life.

​

12:30 - Lunch

There is an opportunity to stay and eat lunch together (bring and share) and continue the conversations.
